Little Haven Lane, Horsham

This exciting project consisted of 8 new houses and 6 flats, designed and built for the Guinness Trust. The houses needed to meet disabled access requirements, and the external designs were an interesting contrast of brickwork and blockwork. The flats were constructed using brickwork, blockwork and wide slab floors to ensure quick site turn-around. The design also contained an interesting steel work element in the hexagonal corner and a cantilevered first floor section.

 

The development was a “design and build” project, and we worked alongside the builders Sunninghill Construction and the architects to optimise the design. We also provided support with the drainage design which required flow storage tanks below the car park area with a flow control to meet the allowable discharge.
